There is lots to know about the Birmingham Quilters Guild. If you don't find what you are looking for below, fill out the form on our Contact Us page and we will try to answer your question.
Membership
BQG's year runs from September through July. Guild membership is $45 per guild year before March and then it is only $25.00. You may join at any time during the year. Most members like to renew their membership in July so they don't miss anything in the fall.
To join, you have several options:
1. Fill out the online form and pay your dues through our online directory at Wild Apricot.
2. Print out and complete this form and bring it with your dues to one of our meetings. (cash, check, or money order made payable to BQG.)
3. Or you can mail it to BQG, Box 59106, Homewood, AL 35259 with your dues payment.
Benefits
Membership has its privileges. Members have access to a full year of guild programs, the guild library, mini-workshops, retreats, and much more.
Meetings
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month (except August.) The business meeting begins at 9:30 followed by Show and Tell. We have a short break just before our program concluding by noon. We meet at the Homewood Senior Center.
Workshops
The Guild offers different types of workshops to its members throughout the year. We try to schedule at least one national teacher a year for a program and classes. Mini-workshops are taught by our members. National teacher workshops are open to members at the teacher's going rate.
